Covid 19 Safety Info

Here’s the bit we are all bored of, but it’s still super important, especially as we are reaching the end!

All attendees must check in using our Test & Trace QR code before entering the event.
All headphones will be cleaned and sanitised before and after the event. For those who want, sanitiser wipes will be available for you to use. Please dispose of these appropriately
Hand washing/sanitising stations will be on site
All staff will be wearing masks and will regularly sanitise their hands throughout the event.
Social distancing must be practised in queues, toilet facilities and with anyone outside of your bubble when sitting and watching the movie.

What do we sit on?

Please bring your own preferred seating option. Most people tend to bring folding chairs or blankets but you’re more than welcome to bring whatever is comfortable.
There’s a blanket-zone at the front of the seating area to make sure all blanket-bearers get a good view!
Please bear in mind if it has rained before the event then the ground may still be damp.

Make sure you dress up warm and bring anything which may make your evening more comfortable. How about bringing a blanket, thick socks to stop your tootsies from getting cold and maybe a torch for the walk home?

Can I use my own headphones?

No, we have specialist headphones that work via radio transmission. We’ve scrapped the deposit for Covid safety reasons, so just bring your ticket and you’re good to go! When you arrive on site, set up your spot in front of the screen,  then pop over to the marquee where you can scan your tickets, pick up a drink, some popcorn and collect your set of wireless headphones.

At the marquee, we will be selling popcorn, crisps and sweets to snack on during the movie, as well as having a well-stocked bar of soft drinks, beer, cider, wine, and of course the feel-good summer staple PROSECCO!

Either take it with you or make use of the abundance of bins onsite. We have separate containers for glass, recyclables and non-recyclables, please help us do out bit for the environment by using the appropriate bin.
This event has been able to go ahead with the approval and enthusiasm of your town council.  Please respect the land and leave it in the beautiful way that you find it.

What about the noise?

Our events have everyone in mind. The headphones mean that the local neighbours and wildlife aren’t disturbed.
That being said, remember that when you want to chat with your friends sitting around you, you are wearing headphones!  Although you may not be able to hear your own voice the rest of the area will!
Events like these are able to continue as long as the local neighbours are happy.  When leaving please keep the noise to a respectable level.

Will there be disablility access?

Most of our events are held in public parks, so access is open to all. Occasionally, we hold an event in a school or leisure centre. In that case, please contact the venue directly to find out more about their access.

If you use any personal medical devices (including but not limited to a pacemaker), please consult your doctor to determine whether the use of the headphones/transmitters could possibly effect your medical device.
