Our 2021 events kick off the 4th of June and YOU could be part of the magic!

Ahhh Summer! It’s that time of year when we pop open the Prosecco, crack open a cold one, fire up the bbq and have a good catch up with our friends in the great outdoors.  We’re getting ready for a fun filled summer bringing live music and outdoor movies to various communities across the South of the UK.  It can’t be done without a class team making sure the events run as smoothly as possible.  Lets bring a memorable & fun night out to the community!

Positions available:

Stewarding Staff
Event Build Staff
Driver with Trailer Licence
Event Manager


Events will be occuring Thurs-Sun most weekends from June-October!
Applicants available for all or most events will be prefered as we’d love to have a team with a happy and strong connection!

Stewarding Staff

The stewards look after the marquee and it’s contents. Your job would be setting up the marquee and the bar as well as prepping the headphones for the event. There’s no heavy lifting involved. All staff are involved in serving snacks and drinks during the event as well as checking people in and handing out headphones.

Job role: 
  • Super friendly and professional customer interaction

  • Stock checking
  • Cleaning/charging headphones
  • Dismantling and packing away equipment at the end of the night
  • Dismantling the bar

To be part of the team you must:
  • Have your own transport to get to the events
  • Registered as Self Employed
  • Have initiative
  • Be able to do manual work
  • Be well mannered
  • Have a good positive outlook on life in general and be up for a laugh
  • Be able to work fast, calmly and professionally
  • Have a willingness to learn

£80 per shift. Hot meal provided on-site. Uniform provided.

Event Build Staff

Your job will be to set up and secure the screen for inflation, mark out the safe zones and put the appropriate fencing up around the screen and audience. You will be required to set up the projector, wire up the sound transmitters and set up the sound for the musician and the movie (experience with live AV is prefered although training will be provided). After set up, you will help out at the marquee checking out headphones and running the bar. After the movie, everything will need to be dismantaled and put away securely.

Job role: 
  • Setting up the screen, projector and sound equipment
  • Setting up fencing
  • Checking people in
  • Serving drinks
  • Cleaning/charging headphones
  • Dismantling the screen
  • Shutting down the projector & sound equipment
  • Packing down and loading up the work vehicles

Driver with a Trailer License

Applicants should be upbeat and self-motivated, you’ll be as happy working alone as you will be working as part of a team. You’ll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you. Candidates must be physically fit and great organizational skills with a delicate touch to make sure everything is packed away the same way after each event. You will be used to not cutting corners and making sure things are done properly everytime and to a high standard.

Job role: 
Days will start in the afternoon with the Van collection at Bracknell. Then off to Windlesham to the yard to fill up the toilet trailer water tank, hitch up the trailer and drive it to the event location to meet the rest of the team.

Then once on sight, it will be unhitching the trailer and dropping the various equipment at various locations on-site and assist with setting the event up, joining the rest of the team with scanning tickets, serving drinks, and dealing with customers.

Once the movie starts it’s a quick de-brief, a bite to eat from the catering trailer (which is provided for free), and then start packing things up again for once the movie finishes. Once the movie finishes there’s a rush of clearing every one of the site, pack the remaining equipment down, do a litter sweep and drive the trailer back to the yard. Dispose of the recycled waste out of the van into the bins in the yard. And then drive the van back to base.

 
Requirements:
  • Full driving licence with CAT B+E and proven history of trailer driving experience
  • Registered as Self Employed
  • Considerate of equipment and vehicles
  • Able to forward plan and be punctual
  • Mature and able to think on the spot
  • Over 25 due to insurance
  • Experience with customer facing and cash handling
  • Be reliable, polite and personable

Event Manager

We are looking for an upbeat, proactive and clear headed event manager to oversee the events, effectively deligate duties and get stuck in with running the events themselves. The manager will have an understanding of all components of the event; the technical set up of the AV equipment, the pricing at the bar, ticketing, the headphones. They will also be the first port of call for any complications, customer queries or staff questions and a report of the evenings event should be completed each evening. Expereince in managing live events is prefered. It will also be the managers responsibility to assure all staff are adhereing to Covid regulations.

Job role: 
  • Overseeing the build and stewarding staff
  • Keeping the event to schedule
  • Keeping tabs of stocks
  • Understanding all areas of the event
  • Deligating tasks between staff
  • First port of call for complications
  • Customer service
 
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in events (management prefered)
  • Registered as Self Employed
  • Provide own transport to the events
  • Calm and collected
  • Ability to think on your feet
  • Positive attitude and ability to boost moral!
  • Organised with great time management
